One of the uses for in-plant buildings is installing them in Parts Areas. They are close to the work area. The Building is clean and can be installed in one or two days. It has wiring chases every 4 feet of wall space at the hollow metal stud for the panels. It is easy to change phone & computer wires, etc. It can be heated & cooled for people and computers.
We helped create a new parts area & move an existing parts room recently. We did a 10 ft high security enclosure with a door & gate for lift trucks & pallets. Then we did a floor to ceiling curtain to keep out dust & noise. We installed a 12 X 16 in-plant office building for the two parts people, their desks, and bookcases for their manuels. It has 4 windows that look out into the parts area & it is heated & cooled.

One of the uses for in-plant buildings is installing them on mezzanines. They can be used for supervisors to look over plant orperations. Another application is for breakrooms, etc. to save plant floor space.
We helped an auto parts manufacturer increase productivity by building 3 mezzanines over restroom buildings in a plant and installing 3 breakrooms on the mezzanines.
